After court delays, the West Virginia Secondary Schools Activities Commission announced the post season football matchups would be determined using the same system that was utilized for the regular season. The first round of games will be kicking off Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23. Among the notable games:

No. 14 Cabell Midland (5-5) @ No. 3 Jefferson (7-3) – Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
No. 13 Elkins (5-5) @ No. 4 Herbert Hoover (10-0) – Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
No. 9 Ripley (7-3) @ No. 8 North Marion (7-3) – Friday at 7 p.m.
No. 12 Nicholas County (6-4) @ No. 5 Wheeling Central Catholic (8-2) – Friday at 7 p.m.
No. 11 Clay County (7-3) @ No. 6 Philip Barbour (7-3) – Saturday at 4 p.m.
No. 10 Wayne (6-4) @ No. 7 Scott (8-2) – Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
