Kanawha County Humane Association could use donations to care for sick dogs

After 19 dogs were brought to be treated for parvovirus, the Kanawha County Humane Association is asking for help. The dogs were rescued from a property off of Grandview Ridge Road in Putnam County. Besides parvo, the dogs are being treated for fleas, ticks, and malnourishment. Putnam County deputies and Humane Officers executed a search warrant last Thursday which led to the discovery that the dogs were in bad shape and living in deplorable conditions. The owner has been arrested. Once the animals are fully recovered they’ll be available for adoption. Until then, the KCHA could use dog food and medical supplies. You can make cash donations too.
