WVFMA helps Farmers Market

The West Virginia Farmers Market Association has announced the recipients of its 2024 Mini-Grant Program, funded by the West Virginia Department of Agriculture. This year’s program saw a strong response, with 43 applications submitted totaling over $194,000 in funding requests. Fourteen farmers markets across the state have been awarded a combined $51,052 to support essential enhancements and operational improvements. The WVFMA is a non-profit dedicated to supporting and advancing farmer’s markets throughout West Virginia envisioning a future where West Virginia farmers markets offer healthy, local food and contribute to a vibrant agricultural ecosystem.
