One person was taken to a local hospital after a crash along Dupont Avenue in the Belle area. A witness at the scene said the SUV hit a power pole, flipped and took down the fencing around the Belle side of the Marmet Locks and Dam before coming to a stop. Belle Fire Chief David Fletcher said the driver was trapped when they got to the scene. The driver was taken to a local hospital with a head injury. The road was closed for about an hour while crews cleaned up the scene
