The Town of Marmet seems to be left with more questions than answers following the death of 47-year-old Terry Shamblin. Friends and family gathered Friday night for a candlelight vigil at the community park for Shamblin. Shamblin’s Fiancé Kayla Thompson said Shamblin died Dec. 13. He was found badly beaten and bruised under a bridge near Interstate 64. Marmet police are not calling it a homicide investigation yet, but Shamblin’s family want answers.
