Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin was nominated and confirmed as the 2nd Vice President of the National League of Cities Women in Municipal Government Board of Directors for 2025 during the NLC City Summit. WIMG is one of the National League of Cities six constituency groups. Mayor Goodwin has been an active member of the NLC since taking office in 2019 and a member of the WIMG since 2020. The WVML is a statewide, nonprofit, nonpartisan association of cities, towns and villages to assist local governments. The WVML provides legislative advocacy, research, education and other services for municipal elected officials.
