The Shape Shop Cafe on Charleston’s West Side closed its doors last month, but those doors will soon be open again, this time, to serve as the kitchen hub for Manna Meal. which is on track to provide close to 300,000 free meals to those in need by the end of this year. The donation of the building by Shape Shop owner Millie Snyder started the effort. Ms. Snyder actually donated it to West Virginia Health Right, which then decided to partner with Manna Meal to lease them the space. Manna Meal Executive Director Amy Wolfe said that having an actual space for storage, offices and food prep will help tremendously.
