A second teen testifies against adoptive parents

The trial continues this week against a Sissonville couple accused of human trafficking and child abuse after two of their adoptive children were found locked in a shed. Tuesday marked the fifth day of the trial for Donald Lantz and Jeanne Whitefeather. One of the children, now 18, testified last week, and a second child testified on Tuesday. The teen said Whitefeather gave him and his sister a rule that they had to stand in the loft with their hands over their heads, but he didn’t know why that rule was in place. He also said sometimes they wouldn’t get anything to drink and bathing was rare. He also recounted a moment when Whitefeather sprayed him in the eyes with bear spray. The trial continues today.
