A Kanawha County Grand Jury handed down an indictment on Friday for 28-year old Ryan Jones on a felony of DUI causing death charge related to a single-vehicle crash in Sissonville in October 2023. Jones was arrested after deputies determined that alcohol and speed were contributing factors in the wreck where Jones drove his pickup truck off the roadway and struck a tree. His passenger, 26-year old Dustin Myers, died from his injuries. More court dates are pending.
