A man has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery that took place at a gas station in Kanawha County. Michael Allen Stone, 38, of Malden was taken into custody after being identified as the suspect in the armed robbery of a Speedway gas station that occurred about 5 a.m. on Dec. 27 in the 500 block of Campbell’s Creek Drive near Charleston, according to court records from the Kanawha County Magistrate Court. The criminal complaint said that all the witnesses were able to corroborate information, including the clothes that Stone was wearing in the surveillance video. Stone was charged with one count of felony robbery and was arraigned Friday evening on the charge. He is being held at South Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.
