West Virginia airports begin to allow digital IDs

Travelers at West Virginia airports may now utilize digital identification to get through checkpoints, according to the Transportation Security Administration.
The TSA noted the state’s mobile ID application may be used for verification purposes during screening at West Virginia Yeager International Airport and Huntington Tri-State Airport. The application is available to all residents, allowing state-issued licenses, permits or IDs to be added to smartphones. West Virginia is the 14th state to roll out the technology.
