Deputies have made an arrest and issued warrants for alleged gun crimes following an investigation into an accidental shooting that occurred last month in Kanawha County. James Wesley Brogan, 32, has been charged with wanton endangerment and being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.The news release said warrants have been filed against Henon Wesley Snodgrass, 42, for two counts of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. On Nov. 11, deputies were dispatched to a Diagonal Drive address to find Brogan had accidentally shot himself in the leg with a .38 caliber pistol at a Cone Run Road home, according to the news release. Deputies said the search of a trailer on Cone Run Road belonging to Snodgrass revealed four guns and more than 100 rounds of ammunition. Previous felony convictions prohibit the two men from legally owning firearms. Investigators are searching for Snodgrass and have asked anyone with information on his location to dial 911, contact deputies at 304-357-0157 or submit a tip online.
