Man arrested for hitting officer

A Huntington man faces additional charges after he refused to cooperate and acted aggressive with officers as he was being processed on Friday, court records said. Bobby Dwayne Allen, 36, was charged with obstructing an officer and battery on a governmental representative after he was taken into custody at the Huntington Police Department Headquarters where he became aggressive during his processing, according to a criminal complaint filed with the Cabell County Magistrate Court.The complaint states that Allen became uncooperative with the police officers, refusing commands and turning his head when authorities attempted to unsecure him from his booking cell. Then he allegedly acted aggressive and threatened to fight several officers.
