2024 murder suspect enters a plea

A man accused in a deadly Charleston stabbing was in court Thursday. Anthony Grose of Charleston pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in the death of 29-year-old Brandon Bandy in September 2024. Eyewitness News said a trial date in the case was set for July 7th. Charleston police said they found Bandy in a Smith Street parking lot with multiple stab wounds on Sept. 12, and they believe Grose stabbed Bandy on Leon Sullivan Way during an argument over a woman. Grose was arrested shortly after in the 300 block of Laidley Street.
