A water reserve tank has been set up in Mingo County to provide for residents who have been impacted by the recent water outages. The tank will be located at the J&S Quickmart at 100 Victory Lane in Williamson. According to Mingo County Emergency Management, the outage has impacted residents in Chattaroy, Dan’s Branch, Falls Branch, Goodman Hollow, Winfred Street, Alley Branch and surrounding areas. Eyewitness News said that empty jugs with lids will be available inside the store and each family can take up to three jugs, refilling as needed. If residents have their own jugs, they can fill them at the tanker. The water is being provided by American Water.
