The Archery in the Schools State Tournament is coming up in Charleston later this month. The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources said in a news release that students from 64 schools will participate in the annual tournament when it is held at the Charleston Coliseum on Saturday, March 29. Almost 1,400 students from 94 West Virginia schools participated in the state qualifier. The top eight teams, top 15 individual boys and top 15 individual girls from elementary, middle and high school are eligible to participate in the state tournament. Students from Clendenin Elementary, Elkview Middle, Herbert Hoover High, Hurricane High, Poca High, and Saint Albans High are among those participating. Anyone can attend the state tournament. Tickets will be available at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center Box Office.
