Customer complaints lead to an investigation into Waste Management’s practices

State regulators have launched an investigation after complaints about Waste Management of West Virginia. The trash collection company has been accused of missing pickup days, making incomplete pickups and providing little notice when the schedule changes, according to a news release from the Public Service Commission of West Virginia. Some customers reported lapses in service that lasted for weeks, according to Eyewitness News. Waste Management is divided into six regions statewide, including Bridgeport, Charleston, Chester, Martinsburg, Parkersburg and Pecks Mill. The company has been ordered respond to regulators within ten days.
