When schools close, districts are left with the task of deciding what to do with old buildings. A church will move into the old Davis Creek Elementary School building in Cabell County. The school board agreed to terms with Mercy Village Church that will allow the church to move out of a shared business complex off Route 60. The church will have more space to expand outreach programs once they transition into their new home, which is expected to be sometime this summer.
