Some are rallying for change in the City of Madison. Accelerate Madison volunteer Rodney Miller told Eyewitness News that Good News Madison is a way to start bringing positive impacts to the community. An event over the weekend gave community members the chance to see and provide feedback on the changes coming to Madison, including a revival of the downtown area. Boone Memorial Health put in over $3.4 million in a farmers market green house and stage area. Members of Accelerate Madison said they hope events like this one can start to change the narrative around small towns in West Virginia. Hiking and biking trails are also in the works.
