Marshall football players get to work filling potholes

A partnership between the Marshall University football team and the city of Huntington will make the drive to football games a little smoother. Marshall University football players worked with public works to fill potholes on city roads on Wednesday. Its part of the “Paving the Way to Victory” program where the goal was to sell 500 more new football season tickets by March 17. Once the goal was reached, members of the football team joined city crews to help repair the city’s roads. Eyewitness News said Doulton Avenue, Park Avenue and Riverside Drive were some of the streets the players worked on Wednesday.
