Mountwest Community & Technical College held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Learning Commons area this week. The space will help students learn by encouraging collaboration with computers, conference rooms and spaces for group projects. Eyewitness News said The Learning Commons opened in the space that was Mountwest’s former library.
