Renovations continue at Yeager Airport

Upgrades are coming to Charleston’s airport. West Virginia International Yeager Airport is udergoing a phased renovation project that will upgrade the terminal built in the 1940s. The Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority hopes to modernized the terminal and demolish two outdated concourses, replacing them with new ones. They’ll also realign sections of Taxiways A and B, according to the project website. The most recent funding comes from a $8 million Federal Aviation Administration grant.
