Sevverl arrerest and 2 shootings, one fatal in Charleston

Several people are in custody for their participation in a robbery and shooting in Charleston that left a victim in critical condition and another suspect dead, according court records. Those arrested are Kenneth Eugene Washington, 28; Jaquise Isaiah Jackson, 20; and Nyasha Michelle Claytor, 26, charged after allegedly robbing and shooting Ibin Harper on Feb. 23, that according to a criminal complaint filed with the Kanawha County Magistrate Court. Using jail phone records it was determined that Claytor and Jackson had allegedly planned the robbery with Antoine Miller, incarcerated on other charges. The investigation discovered that the three, along with Donovan Lee Brown Jr., 23, and Disnime Mitchell, 23, arrived at a home on the 1300 block of Grant Street where they are accused of shooting and robbing Harper. First responders arrived, Harper was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and Brown was found and arrested. The others were arrested, Miller was shot and killed in Charleston when he pulled a gun on police. Washington is being held on a $100,000 cash only bond, Jackson is being held on a $10,000 cash only bond and Claytor is being held on a $50,000 property/surety bond.
