There’s still time to apply before the sheriff’s office training session on Saturday

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is hiring. Public Information Officer Sergeant Joshua Lester said they are looking to fill over a dozen positions with a chance to work in specialized units like the SWAT team, Bomb Squad, K-9 Unit, and a unique and new program, a Drone Operator. Officers can deploy drones from their cars and the sheriff’s office has a whole division to handle them. Those between the ages of 18 and 45 can apply to work for the sheriff’s office. The testing date is Saturday March 29th at 9 a.m. There’s more at https://www.kanawhasheriff.us/employment-opportunities
