WVU gets new men’s basketball coach

West Virginia University has hired a new leader for its men’s basketball program. North Texas coach Ross Hodge will make the move to Morgantown, replacing Darian DeVries, according to a news release from WVU Athletics.The news release said Hodge has agreed to a five-year deal with WVU following eight seasons at North Texas. Hodge took the head coaching position for the Mean Green after several years of assisting. The Dallas native has previous experience at Colorado State and Southern Miss along with junior colleges, compiling a 192-47 record as a head coach.
