Bond reduction denied to the man accused in a sexual abuse case

A Kanawha County man accused of sending photos of himself sexually abusing a toddler to another man over a social media and messaging app had his request for a bond reduction denied. Christopher Rush will continue to be held on a $100,000 cash-only bond. Collin asked Judge Tera Salango to change the bond to $100,000 property or $10,000 cash. Salango said the case was “disturbing” and said the bond was reasonable based on the seriousness of the charges.
