The City of Charleston Office of Public Art recognized the winners of the 2025 Charleston Youth Art Month Juried Exhibition with a ceremony at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. There were 286 submitted pieces this year, up from 175 pieces last year, and 75 in 2023. Eighth-grader Carly Morris from John Adams Middle School won the Mayor’s Choice award for her watercolor piece title “Frog.” Ashtyn Jones of Sacred Heart Grade School won the Mayor’s Honorable Mention.
