FEMA deadline is extended for Kentucky residents who need flood assistance

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has extended the deadline for personal assistance following severe storms and flooding in eastern Kentucky. Homeowners and renters that experienced damage to their property during the fatal storms now have until Monday, May 25 to apply for assistance, according to Eyewitness News. FEMA assistance can help with rental assistance, temporary housing, and property repairs.
