The Governor celebrated his accomplishments from his first 100 days in office, but said there are still some key things to be done, including a special session to focus on the state’s Public Employees Insurance Agency. In a news conference Wednesday, Gov. Morrisey, said he plans to call a special session later this year to focus on funding for PEIA, which provides insurance for state and county employees. “I thought that would be best for a special session, to be honest, because you can bring everyone in, you can focus on it, Morrisey said. “It’s a complicated issue and we want to get it right.”
