Grandmother and parents of a disabled child arrested for neglect

A Logan County grandparent accused of locking an autistic child in a room covered in feces has been charged. Cherlyn Irene Woody, 58, has been charged with child neglect resulting in injury and maltreatment of a disabled child according to a criminal complaint filed in Logan County Magistrate Court. The complaint also said deputies were called to assist a CPS worker who received a tip that a couple identified as 35-year-old Joshua Allen Moore and 31-year-old Tiffany Leigh Moore – were locking their autistic daughter in a room covered in fecal matter. The Moores have been charged with child neglect resulting in jury and maltreatment of a disabled child.Woody is being held at Southwestern Regional Jail on $25,000 cash only bail.
