Six people, including two members of the West Virginia National Guard, have been arrested in the theft of an armored Humvee in Jackson County. Tresten M. Williams, 20, of Ravenswood and five others, all in their late teens and early twenties, face charges. West Virginia State Police said the vehicle was stolen March 6 from the Millwood Armory and was found wrecked in a sand and gravel pit near Apple Grove, Ohio. The fence at the armory surrounding military vehicles and a gate lock were cut to get the vehicle out. Court documents said Williams’ fingerprint was found on the vehicle. A statement from the West Virginia National Guard said it is monitoring the case, according to Eyewitness News.
