Human remains have been identified as those of Lenard Pierre Jackson, 38, of Dundee, Michigan, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office said Jackson was reported missing to the Charleston Police Department on March 26. The investigation into Jackson’s death is being treated as a homicide. The case is being handled as a joint effort between the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office and Charleston Police Department.
