Verdunville Elementary in Logan County is closed for another week because of a large rockslide behind the school. The slide happened on April 9 after heavy rains caused flooding in areas including Verdunville. The school has been closed since the floods, and it won’t open until at least after next week’s spring break. Crews will work on moving the rock slide over the next several days. The goal is to open Verdunville Elementary again on April 29.
