A man indicted on multiple charges in an armed robbery that took place at a Kanawha County gas station late last year plead not guilty Monday. 38-year old Michael Allen Stone of Malden was indicted on first-degree robbery, petit larceny, use or presentment of a firearm during the commission of a felony and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, according to Eyewitness News. Stone is accused of pointing a handgun at a clerk working at a Speedway location along Campbells Creek Drive near Charleston and demanding money. Court records said the clerk retreated to a secure part of the store to dial 911 and Stone broke into a change dispenser before leaving the gas station.
