Some workers at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health in Morgantown are expected to temporarily return to work. U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito said it will happen this week and she pledged to continue working to try to make it a permanent return. The announcement comes after nearly 200 workers at the facility were included in nationwide layoffs under Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy’s plan to downsize the agency.
