Cabell County man was sentenced to prison Monday after collecting thousands of files of child pornography and disturbing content on the internet. Ampless Ray Lilly of Huntington was sentenced to 12 years and nine months in prison to be followed by 15 years of supervised release. Over the span of more than a year, Lilly received about 4,000 inappropriate images and videos on his cell phone, according to investigators. Prosecutors noted in 1993, Lilly pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual assault in Lincoln County and was a registered sex offender. He also served five years of probation after pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm in late 2023.
