Two people accused of burning stolen car

Two people are accused of setting fire to a stolen vehicle in central West Virginia, investigators said. Dylan McCracken, 38, and Dawn Pietripaoli, 45, both of Lewis County, are charged with third-degree arson for allegedly setting a stolen vehicle on fire last month in the Jane Lew area, according to a news release from the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office. The pair were arrested Wednesday after the stolen vehicle was found on fire in an empty lot on March 16. Investigators with the fire marshal’s office determined that the fire was incendiary in nature and a warrant for McCracken and Pietripaoli was served. McCracken is being held on a $120,000 bond and Pietripaoli’s bond was set at $100,000.
