A Cabell County woman found hiding from Child Protective Services in bushes with her child has been charged after deputies said they found “extremely poor living conditions,” in her home. 33-year old Brittany Vandale faces charges following a welfare check Friday at a home in Culloden. The child was taken into CPS custody . Vandale is currently being held on a $15,000 bond.
