The Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association received a big gift this week. The national nonprofit nonprofit Petco Love is gifting a $100,000 grant to the organization to help with adoption and lifesaving efforts. The gift is part of more than $12M in investments recently announced by Petco Love, according to a news release from the group. The work at KCHA includes sheltering, adoption, foster care, spay and neuter programs, and they said the investment strengthens its mission.
