A new fire station In Huntington will help make response time quicker. The new builing in the 3200 block of Piedmont Road will help firefighters get out onto a main road quickly and into the Westmoreland area. The new space will also have a better separation between living and working areas. A contract will be awarded soon and construction will take about a year.
