Huntington launches a big water infrastructure project

An infrastructure upgrade project that aims to improve water services is currently underway in Huntington. The $390,000 project started the first week of May and includes replacing 600 feet of aging water main with 2-inch PVC and 6-inch PVC main on Doulton Avenue from 19th Street to 20th Street. The goal of the project is to improve service reliability for customers by reducing service disruptions and maintaining and improving water quality. It should be finished by early July.
