The Clay Center in Charleston hosted the Education Alliance’s 2025 West Virginia Education Summit on Thursday, centered around growing school-business partnerships with students to create sustainable career opportunities. The keynote speaker was West Virginia native Jennifer Garner-actress, Once Upon a Farm co-owner and Save the Children board member. She spoke with Eyewitness News about what these kinds of collaborations mean for the future of the Mountain State. “It really is just about that home visitor who shows up again and again and again, just like the loving neighbor who’s teaching you,” she continued. The goal of the program is to assist parents in raising children and easing the stresses that guardians face while preparing the children for their future.
