A fire caused extensive damage to a home on Valentine Circle in Nitro Saturday afternoon. Firefighters said the owner of the home sustained minor burns and was treated on site, and is expected to be okay. Fire agencies from Nitro St. Albans Institute and Poca fought the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
