Several were apprehended and one person was arrested after a string of auto thefts in Barboursville overnight Wednesday. Eyewitness News reported 29-year old Rodney Etters was taken into custody and charged with larceny, auto tempering and an outstanding warrant after he and another suspect allegedly broke-in to several vehicles. Barboursville Police said on social media that the reports of the initial break-ins came in early Wednesday morning and two suspects were apprehended in the Village. The following day, Etters was found in Barboursville Park after he stole a license plate of a car on Peyton Street and attached it to his vehicle. Etters had an outstanding warrant for receiving a stolen car in Huntington. He was taken to Western Regional Jail where he is being held on a $14,000 bond.
