with the pro Road National championships in full swing in charleston, many spectators
were getting out and about and using the Private Outdoor Designated Areas, more
commonly known as PODA’s on Friday. Most of downtown was lined on Friday with
spectators cheering on the cyclists, and many of those spectators were using the
PODA. There are four pODA’s around Charleston including right downtown that include
several businesses on Summers Street like Fife Street Brewing, that allow users to buy
an alcoholic beverage at one place and walk around the designated area as long as
