A proposal was denied that would have allowed smoking at the Mardi Gras Casino and Resort. The Kanawha-Charleston Board of Health voted down a proposed amendment to Kanawha County’s Clean Indoor Air Regulation that would have allowed for a special section for indoor smoking. The board took public comments into consideration before they voted on the measure.
