Water infrastructure upgrades are happening in Buffalo

West Virginia American Water has plans to make $250,000 worth of water infrastructure improvements in Buffalo. The work began earlier this month to replace one thousand feet of aging water main with 2-inch PVC on Railroad Avenue. The project should be done by the end of July and crews will work on restoring the street after that. The aim is to improve service and reliability for customers by reducing service disruptions and maintaining and improving water quality. West Virginia American Water said in a new release that customers may experience temporary service interruptions, discolored water, and/or lower than normal water pressure as crews make the upgrades.
