State officials announced Friday that cost share adjustments for federal assistance involving winter flooding in southern West Virginia have been approved.Counties that received aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be reimbursed for 90% of costs instead of 75%, according to a news release from West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey’s Office.”Recovery is a long process,” Morrisey stated in the news release. “We are going to keep working until the job is done.” Thousands of victims applied for aid in West Virginia after February flooding caused millions of dollars in damage. Public assistance from FEMA was approved for Greenbrier, Lincoln, Logan, McDowell, Mercer, Monroe, Summers, Wayne and Wyoming counties.
