Human remains identified as a man from MD

Human remains found in West Virginia earlier this week have been identified as a Maryland man, deputies said. The remains of Andrew Tyler Sweitzer, 33, of Garrett County, Md., were found in a wooded area between Scott Avenue and Smithtown Road Sin Morgantown on Monday, according to the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office. deputies said Sweitzer was living in Morgantown at the time of his death. The cause and circumstances surrounding Sweitzer’s death are still under investigation pending results from the state medical examiner’s office, the sheriff’s office said.
