Officers responded to disturbance of about 30 teenagers in the St. Albans Mall parking lot Thursday evening where the St. Albans Red Dragon Football Carnival had been taking place, according to a news release from the St. Albans Police Department. Police dispersed the crowd and minutes later, gunshots were heard across MacCorkle Avenue in the vicinity of the McDonald’s. Officers from the St. Albans and Nitro Police Departments, along with Kanawha County deputies and West Virginia State Police, quickly converged on the area, but didn’t find anyone with injuries.
